April 2009 Photo Contest - BRIDGES

Congratulations to TorRED, Hemi last months winner
This month's theme will be: BRIDGES
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 15th

From TorRED:
"Bridges" - Be creative w/ a shot of your LX as long as there is a bridge in the main part of the picture.

Here's the rules, folks:

1) One entry per member, per contest.
2) Member must take photo.
3) Member's LX must be in the photo.
4) Photograph must be taken for this contest - no previous shots allowed.
5) Photo shopping is not allowed except for modifying the license plate, brightness and contrast, and crop/resize.
6) Maximum size - 800 x 600. Oversize photos will not be allowed. Resizing available if needed.
7) The winner will be responsible for deciding upon the theme of the following month's contest, and is not eligible to participate in that contest.

Submissions should be posted to THIS thread, any time through Wednesday, April 15th. Submissions posted elsewhere will not be counted.

Voting will begin on a separate thread as soon as the submission deadline passes.

So get out your camera, and go find a bridge! we can't wait to see what types of shots you come up with this month.

Wait, as of next week, I have nothing but time until I find a new job. Maybe I can find a creative shot.

Since nobody is gonna post any bridges, I'll get the competition started, even tho I can't compete...

Cool shot! Too bad it is not going in the running...

I got out on Saturday for some, but am going to continue to look for some other opportunities. That way I will have more to choose from and not make the shooting a last minute kind of thing...

Hey TorRed! That's a killer shot! I'm glad you are participating enough to give us all something to shoot for! Aim high right? That's just a sweet pic.

I couldn't use that one anyways, since the wife took the shot. I wanted to line it up better and play with angles, but we have about 40 mph winds and it was COLD!!!

I'm so glad you took the advice and chose one for the contest! Good luck and great pic btw...I am still looking for another location to shoot (took some on Saturday) to see what else I get.
