First make a good cut out (see this lesson Hazman's How to Cut Out Lesson)

Then duplicate this layer and flip it

Next move the Flipped layer to where the bottom of the images meet

Next we use the WARP TOOL

I zoom out so I can see all the segments
![]()
Next we pull up the edges till you like it
![]()
At this point you can use a Blur filter(Blur, More Blur, Lens Blur, or a liquify filter)
I'm using a motion Blur here

next I add a layer for the shadow

I pick a black color and add a shadow
![]()
I then use a smear tool to fill up to the shadow
![]()
Next I fill the BACKGROUND layer with black
This will show all the cut out errors you need to clean up

With a just a little tweaking you are done
