Need place to stay during nationals!!

Hey everyone. so i am a new member of the rejx and i am wanting to go to nationals. but i am by my self. i can afford to go but was wanting to save money on the room. if anyone would like to share a room or would be willing to have a rolla way bed put in the room that would be so nice. if not i think i might just put the back seats down in the mag and sleep there. and maybe someone can let me use the shower. doesnt really matter to me.

There are some folks that are staying at another hotel semi-close by but have not heard where yet. That may be another option to save some money instead of booking at the HQ Hotel.

Just a thought......

Andrew...Ryan, you guys might be in luck here. Might be able to get a few others in on this as well but they may have to take the floor. At the very least it'll be a place to shower and sleep. Tracy and I talked about it and this seems like the right thing to do for you guys that need a place to crash.

I do some traveling repair/installation work a few times a year and have learned to take advantage of any perks that I can get. Last year I decided that I was only going to stay in Best Westerns so I could aquire points that could be used for free night stay at Best Westerns. I have saved 28,000 points in the last year and may pick up a few thousand more next week since I have to go to New york and install some lazer heads and move a Cyber Saw (wood truss equipment)

Anyway, I see that there are some Best Westerns kinda close to Salem and if you guys wouldn't mind a few minutes of commuting I'll reserve a room and apply my points for you guys. Jusst promise me two things...

1: No drinking at the LX hang out and then driving back to the room. If you're gonna drink, have a driver or do it in the room

2: Leave the room in perfect condition...no towel swiping

As of now you have 28000 points to play with...staying in Akron is 12000 points per night, all others are 16000-20000 per night.You decide how you want to spend them. If you choose Akron we can cover 2 nights but anywhere else we can only cover 1 but the rooms aren't real pricey

wow Dan & Tracy im not sure what to say. i would love to go but i feel bad to be honest. i know andrew said he got a place but i would def be willing to room with anyone else that needs a place if they want to jump in on this. If nobody jumps in if you dont mind i will just bring a buddy with me who i was talkin about the M & G with the other night and he showed interest in going...about how far is Akron from the M & G??? def keep in touch with me on this one and Dan you have my number if you need to call about anything.. thanks again you 2 im extremely thankful for your generosity.

Just looking out, Ryan. We know how it is when theres just not much time to plan expenses and we've been saving pennies since last years LX&B so we could do it again. If you and your buddy are the only ones needing a place to rest your head and wash your butt then thats fine with us. If someone needs a spot and theres room just work it out and it looks like you'll be in charge. This isn't an out of pocket expense for us (just a job perk) and I don't want it to turn into an expense

wow man..i cant say thanks enough to you and Tracy. i just talked to him and hes all about going. so sounds like him and i will take you up on this. I dont drink so as far as everything goes we will be good and you have my word that everything will be taken care of. when exactly is everyone heading over. convoy???
