    Arrow Grill concept

i HAD AN IDEA FOR A GRILL CHANGE. If we dropped the horizontal cross, It opens up to let the line from the headlights follow thru, might not be to bad with a coping saw and a second grill. What do you all think??

Then I had an idea for headlight and foglight stripes, sort of a cheap version of the 71 front end.

I agree with Tjay, do deep dish black and a bottom lip to lower the look of the front for more aggressive stance.

Randy has the lip but that must be an older pic. Heres a few months ago when we were all hangin' out

I kinda like the clutterless look of the deep dish also. Never hurts to be creative tho

just realized that my post might have been seen as throwing water on the idea.
Sorry, was not meant that way. It is an interesting thought for sure.

I just never liked the crosshair on a car. Seems right at home on trucks but I knew it would be one of the first things I dropped from my ride

If you want to go for a front that looks like a complete grille ,open the grille and open the bumper on either side of the lights and grille and you would have an open look that is totally custom. Im not good with the photoshop, but if someone is try it. I think it would give more of a challenger look. The main goal is it would have to be clean and look factory!

I'm not crazy about the OEM crosshair but it would be nice to remove the horizontal part and just make an opened up grille with just the vertical section. I have a an extra Chrome grille after modding mine. As Above, I went with the open mouth DankoReproductions.com '68 grille. The '69 grille has just the center vertical.

    The 69' Grille From Danko

Danko is getting ready to do this....

I definatly like the 68 best, of course Angie says she likes the stock one that was part of the 30 some G's she spent. anyway, I can't find the thread on the 68 grill.
I am trying to fiqure out what Indysrt means, do you think cutting holes in the side of the front facia?

i just thought a modification that would be doable ( not big money) would be to take the bottom of the headlights and take that line all the way across the front and fill in the grille underneath that line and open up the rest with a recessed grille and black out the headlights. The rendering on the blue car is excellent but would require alot of custom pieces i.e. where are you going to put the headlight if it is recessed that deep? cool but extensive
