Thanks guys. Perseverance pays off.
No more plastic thankfully. I think it was put through enough hell. Added the 6.1 with just a little porting and stock throttle body, and I like the results much better. Im waiting for the graph to see the comparisons, but the 5.7 was a great torque-y setup. I believe it made 808wtq with it, but alot less hp.
BTW, your generosity is still paying off. The stock torque converter you let me have is doing a great job!
If things go perfect then it might see a track rental just to see what it traps at. But its a DD/street car. I like beating up on the car on the street with the stock rear end and stock axles for now. Personally, Id like to see the car somewhat near 3600lb before going to tracks so there is a little more wrenching still to go.
Its a very nice DD. It gets 20/28 MPG surprisingly and the stock converter makes it feel stock when not under boost.
I agree. 2+ years later and 9+ months sitting at RDP with nothing getting done deserves some fun. Ive missed out on alot of LX events that I would have loved to attend so hopefully all the bad mojo is gone from here on out.

Awesome bro. Well done. Can I ask what the oil issues were??
Oil issues were oil leaking past the turbo seals into the exhaust pipes. Very annoying to say the least.
Great numbers!!! Glad to see it finally running well, congrats!![]()

I was able to drive the car before, but if I didnt start the car up daily then the oil would collect and cause a bunch of smoke on start up.
And thankfully, the colder spark plugs fixed the P0300 code that I got all the time. I was a little weary of the Kenne Bell Boost-a-Spark anyway and wasnt ready to spend money on the much needed cosmetic mod 6.1 ignition system.
