Need advice and info

Ok I just purchased a turbo kit from a member here, now the kit does not come with an intercooler, but does come with a water/meth injection system. Looking at the company website for the kit they state that an intercooler is not necessary for low levels of boost (which I plan on). I was just wondering, is an intercooler a MUST, or would running this be ok without an intercooler? If so anyone know where I could get an intercooler for my particular vehicle (2010 Charger RT). Also is it necessary to get a turbo timer? I know I need a good tune, already talked to johan about that one. I will be picking up AF/boost guages, got injectors on the way also, anything else needed? Thanks for any help provided.

I know they run non-intercooled centri blowers with meth injection with great results. I am thinking it's the same with a turbo set up..

turbo timer is definitely a good idea. will allow you to cool the turbo after hard runs and before shutting the car down. you can just set it and walk away and lock up. if you forego it, you run the risk of oil caking in the unit.

thanks, thats good to know, anything else I am missing? Was thinking a BAP is also neede with the ford 80lb injectors I am getting, any ideas on a good BAP? Also want to get a Turbosmart eboost 2(boost controller/guage) all in one.

Sorry, my knowledge of turbo setups only goes so far as the the timer as I used to install them a long time ago in customer cars.

Any reason you don't want to go with a front mount intercooler? They've been proven to work... like forever.

I would go with a front mounted cooler, but where could I get one that's not part of a kit?

Just stick with the setup and w/m. No need for an intercooler since its a rear mount. This is from personal experince seeing the NCTS turbo kit in action. Here are some pic's of the owner of NCTS and my son sharing a paycheck at the track. My kid can cut a light, took me out in the first round. lol
