    Injected Engineering

They said they could tune my twin turbos. They said they were meticulous and stood behind their work no matter what. So I made the 350mi. trip, twice, so much dor through! Over $3000 spend with them, lodging, car rental, etc. and this is what I got.I have asked them many times over these several months to help me out but they simply ignore my emails. They are even refusing to send me a copy of the tune that cost me so much. More on this at www.Qualityrockers.com/InjectedEngineering.htm The result below, an new engine, turbos and over $12k more.

506 miles after their corrected tune, 350 going home on cruise!

there were 4 pistons like this trashed heads and turbos

Pretty common problem, especially on FI motors.

Good luck in getting it back on the road soon!

Is this a stock bottom end? Pretty common to see this on boosted motors pushing to much boost on stock pistons.

Man this freakin sucks! When I read posts like this it seriously makes me sick to my stomach! In today's economy every single dollar counts. For them to hold you hostage for more money is seriously highway robbery! I had a nice little reply written up but it got lost somehow so I'll just get to the major points I had.

What kind of TT set-up did/do you have? What kind of boost controller? Where are you going to have the repair work done?

I read your linked page and have a suggestion...I recently learned this the hard way in a court of law. You might want to go through that page and change a few words that are out of context. You stated you are a business owner so your summation should reflect that you are a competent business owner. You put yourself in a position that the whole world could judge you by writing that page. I made the mistake of not crossing my T's and dotting my I's so I thought I would give you my red neck opinion. I really think you should look at taking this a step further and obtaining representation.

I say this solely based off of what the OP wrote. There isn't a rebuttal so this is the only information I can base an opinion on. Post something up in the Good-Bad-Ugly section too! Maybe the vendor will reply to what you wrote allowing more information to rise to the surface.

Good luck with getting some sort of compensation.

I've heard the story that stock pistons won't last under boost also. I know Procharger recommends a 6 psi max, as does STS Turbos.

    But....

Check out Kenne Bell's website, particularly the pages on their Challenger kit. They claim the stock pistons are fine with boost, as long as detonation is controlled.

    http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...challenger.htm

They back that up pretty well with a Challenger with 2000 dyno runs, supercharged, on an otherwise stock 6.1 Hemi.

    Hmmm...

Dam, that shocks me to hear that about Injected Engineering, Arick and those guys over there seemed to have it all together. The test of any businees is how they treat you when **** goes bad and for them not to take care of you is enough for me to reconsider.

They also have part throttle boost fueling control on the tune for that car it's like comparing apples to hand grenades. Plus I heard a little birdy told chrysler there was a problem with the older engines under boost and they took some steps to beef them up(all rumor till I see proof)

This would be great news, if true......
It looks like 2012 will be very good indeed.
Unless the Mayans are right, then, well, never mind.
