the two guys I know of that are running turbos. one is the sts system and that didnt go well. ended up blowing up the motor and the other guy has a single and that motor went pop too. I would stay away from turbos till we get better tuning

Or get in touch with someone that has some idea of how to add fuel for part throttle boost...

hmmm... I think I mentioned how to do this elsewhere...

here's a hint... most wideband O2 kits have a programmable "narrow band" output...and those kits that do, would solve this problem...if used appropriately...

My point is that everyone keeps ignoring the one biggest problem with turbos AND positive displacement blowers (like your Kenne Bell)...

The car's computer has no way...ABSOLUTELY ZERO... control to add fuel for part throttle boost...

and nobody wants to talk about it...or offer a way to fix it... even Kenne Bell wont divulge what they have done to add fuel for part throttle boost...

but here's my guess... that sweet little "patented bypass valve" they have with their kits...is probably electronically controlled to only close under WOT as commanded by the WOT vs. pedal position maps in the predator... ( I await anxiously for what they actually do...not just a rebuttal...)

which means your still giving up part throttle boost and power...but not all of it...

there is a much better solution...and guys like this need to put some thought into it and discuss it...

so take what I said earlier, and run with it...let's see where the discussion leads...

there were a handfull of CIS turbos on the road for many thousands of miles.
    no intercooler, just meth.

the guy who made the system is now pimping that IEMS3 (or whatever it is) that is that standalone engine controller because its the only way to do it safely outside of what has been mentioned above

Discussed ad nauseam. Solution alludes due to denial, monetary concerns or limited application. If there were a buck to be made here, certainly someone would've invented it, wouldn't they?

I think that is the guy that Stu is building a big motor for. It will still have the STS Twin turbos
