    Whipple Info/Numbers or Track Times?

Im really interested in more info regarding the whipple supercharger setup. I have not heard a peep since the "For Sale" thread.

Is anybody running this kit yet?

Any solid numbers/Track Times? Boost PSI?

    More Detailed final install pics?

We havn't signed up as a sponsor yet (first thing on the list when back from holidays)so its hard for me to talk about our kit in too much detail, but it is ready for sale now.

It was built and designed by one of the biggest Hi Performance Automotive Parts Manufactures in Australia "YellaTerra".
Its been fitted to a number of Hemi's over here in Aussie with great results, It's a complete bolt on package, it uses the new generation 2.4L Whipple head unit and will only be sold intercooled.

The STD kit comes with 10psi and makes 480/490rwhp on a STD 6.1L, this is the boost level we recommend for std comp. and bottom ends. The 2.4L unit is capable of 18,000rpm drive ratio and 750hp so we have designed the components of the kit (ie. hi flow billet fuel rails/large front mount cooler)to support this output if your engine set up will handle more boost.

Hope this has answered some of your questions, and cleared some of the confusion on some other threads. Sorry i cant give you too much more info, i will sign up YellaTerra as a sponsor when i get back from holidays so we can talk about our kit in more detail.
Contact Andy from PPP, they will be one of our major US Dist. of our kit.

    Cheers, Matt.

Good to see you online over here Matt. We are still waiting for that first kit to come over here so we can get it on a customers challenger and drum up some orders. Has that first kit shipped out to us yet?

I believe they measure their octane ratings a bit differently in Australia. They use a formula that the rest of the world uses, where as in the US, we have to be different, and use the (R+M)/2 method, IIRC.

Austrailia and Europe rate Octane using the Research octane number (RON). Here in the US we use the Pump Octane Number (PON) which is actually the average of the Research Octane Number(RON) + the Motor Octane Number(MON), hence the (R+M/2) you see on the pumps. Generally speaking, RON is about 4-5 points higher then PON so they are running approximately 93 octane PON.

Not sure how long the Hemi is going to handle 10psi. Thats pushing it on a SRT. Time will tell. Keep us posted.

I wouldn't see 10psi as a prob on the stock block as long as the fuel and a proper intercooler and perhaps meth/water inj is there to keep pre-det in check. Keep in mind boost is just a relative measurement.......and our stock blocks have already proven they can handle well over the 480rwhp level. Numerous guys pulling 440-450rwhp naturally aspirated and running 125-175shot N20 on top of that.

Can't wait to see this set up run guys.... might be time to upgrade the centri for the mother 3.4
