Thumbs up Vortech R&D prototype Jeep vs 426 Jeep vs heads/cam Jeep

So my buddy had his bro in law drive his prototype Vortech'd otherwise BONE STOCK jeep from San Diego to Fontana to run it.

There were 3 Jeeps there: one 426, one heads/cam/headers/cmr/etc and my friends Vortech on the conservative canned tune at approx 6lbs of boost at 5800rpm

    426 best time: 12.2

    Heads/cam best time: 12.7

    Vortech best time: 12.4 @108

Vortech 60ft times were 1.8's on stock crappy RSA tires

The production kits for the Jeeps are going to have a little more boost with the canned tune and then if they decide to get CMR tunned later I'd say these Vortechs are easily good for high 11's!

Nice cost to performance ratio vs the 426! only 2 tenths of a second!

So this is just giving you guys some more insight on Vortechs performance even though it's on your 4800lb Jeep brothers.....

Get some traction and you guys will be in the 11's EASY!

    Vortech FTW

I really like to see the compairisons like this. Don't get to see that many of them and it really shows what each one is doing (bank for the buck). Thanks for the post!
