    Used GS Motorsports S/C kit questions

    OK so I have some questions:
    1. Will the 5.7L kit fit on a 6.1L? I'm assuming that the plate will fit either motor, is this correct?
    2. Anybody have the belt # and a local place I can buy the belt to make it work on a 6.1L?
    3. Can someone post a picture of the belt routing please.
    4. What size injectors are suggested?
    5. What MAF should I use - part# please.
    6. Any other upgrades to the fuel system required for a low boost application? (Is there a drop in Walbro 255 pump upgrade?)
    7. Increasing boost from 6psi would just be a S/C pulley change out?
    8. Will the plate from GSM support other superchargers besides the paxton? I figured it would already support the novi 1500/2000 etc.
    9. Does any vendor sell a coolant tank like the GSM one?

    The 5.7 kit is a Novi1200.....with that kit and a stock diameter crank pulley I doubt you'll see 6psi on a 6.1.

    OK so the 5.7 is a Novi 1200 and the 6.1 is a Novi 1500.
    Gotcha, any advice on the rest of the questions?

    I got a gsm s.c. kit from a 2006 charger 6.1,I drive an 05 magnum with the 5.7 block with no issues.With the help from Hemi 31, I got my belt from carquest, micro-v#k061140. I could be wrong but i believe gsm only uses the novi 1500 now. I would also like to share this with you, When installing this setup my mechanic had a simple question and called gsm for support . but because this wasnt purchased from gsm, gsm responded by giving no help other than purchasing their 'direction book' for $50 . So if your buying this kit used , your kinda on your own,(although after hanging up the phone with gsm, my mechanic simply called up the maker of most of the products used on the gsm setup and his questions were answered professionally and prompt...thanks vortech)..hope this helps nick

    Picked up my supercharger tonight and I noticed that it's the oil return line type Novi 1200. I'll check to see if Paxton can convert it to a self contained unit but if not, does anyone have pics of their oil line installation?
    I'm going to assume I will need to get an adaptor for the oil filter to give me an pressurized line out and then drill and tap a hole into the oil pan for the return line.

    Also if anybody has a gsmotorsports installation brochure I can borrow that would be great as well! I need to know the "trick" people talk about so it won't shred belts.

    The oil return line goes to a fitting screwed into the drain plug location in the GSM kit.....if you can drill the side of the pan closer to the rail and install a fitting there.....it will drain back much better and keep the oil cooler.
