    Got a question..

I am wanting to do a little more than just a blower. So the question is what kind of power increase will i get and how will the motor handle a combo of: Vortech S/C, Kooks headers, Magnaflow catback, stage 2 heads, cam, p/p intake, diablo.

Will I make good power (worth the extra money) over just exhaust and s/c?

    All input would be appreciated!

You will prolly be in the 500-550 range, you can only push the boost so far on those pistons.
I did a Procharged srt8 here, bone stock with just the blower and it made 505 with a super mild tune due to 7psi of boost.

Well you figure some Head/Cam cars are putting out just as much as a Stock Blower car...Then if you want to put a Blower on top that will differently be Alot more extra power...With all that said if you want to do ALL the above I would strongly suggest in getting the bottom end beefed up along with a nice Meth Kit...

If you are not looking to go the Stroker route and just want Beef up the bottom...Click the link and shot me a PM in you have any other questions..

On an SRT8 with all you talked about doing I hope you get more than 500-550 rwhp. And being that I may be the lucky one who has not built my bottom-end on a 5.7 motor with heads, cam, well look in the SIG. I'm getting 525 rwhp and 477 tq.....an SRT8 should be looking 600+rwhp with the same mods as I.

K so what I am gathering is that I should be over 600 rwhp if i go heads, cam, exhaust, s/c, and tune on the srt8. And if i go with just s/c and exhaust then i will have around 500+rwhp.

So I guess the next question is where would I be if I did one of these HHP built 6.1 bottom ends for boost, with the s/c, tune, exhaust, heads, cam, meth injec....and could I drive it everyday?

Once you get over 600whp, you are in need of a new tranny. You are also going to need some new axles.

    Tranny-4k
    Axles-2k

The faster you want to go, the more money you are going to spend.

    Correct...

Our 6.1 forged rotating assembly will differently help you handle All the above Mods listed...The 6.1 Stock bottom can only handle so much power...And finally to answer your question it is really up to you where will you be as far as power with a 6.1 forged rotating assembly because you can run MORE boost when ever you are ready... Yes it is also good for a daily driver with a good tune...

I also want to elaborate on Roswald's comment...

Yes you will need to upgrade the axles...And as far as worring about the trans yea,but not too much because our tranny problems may soon be solved...

As Landshark said he is making 525 on a 5.7l w Ported Heads and a Cam...so on a 6.1 That would be higher...I wouldn't suggest pushing it too much beyond 550 w the stock internals though. On a totally stock 6.1 Figure 500 RWHP easily on a totally stock SRT8. I definitely suggest water/meth like Landshark has if you plan on pushing teh limits w the stock internals. Johan will be tuning mine woon so we will see what we get!
We are seeing 460-480 on the canned Vortech Tune and 500+ on CMR tunes.

I have decided to get BLOWN! I am going to get the work done at Southern Hotrod. One question I have that some of you might can answer, I was talking to the folks at SH and they said when they contacted Vortech about ordering the supercharger for my 08 Superbee that it wasn't out yet due to tuning issues. But that the 06-07 models are already out. So my question is what is the differences between the 06-07 and 08 Chargers??

The hardware is the same, but they are still working on tuning for the 08s. By the way, I have heads, cam, and Vortech kit. With Vortech's tune, I put down about 550 rwhp. I don't think you can get a whole lot more than this with stock internals. The small ring land requires the tune to be conservative.

Don't forget that the 5.7s have lower compression, so they can be tuned more aggressively on the same amount of boost.

Thanks for the info!!! I am going to start with the s/c, headers, catback, hiflow cats, diablo cmr tuning. And if I want more then I will lean towards heads, cam, or whatever comes my way.
