What are the odds they'll make one for the Hemi? Can't beat the price, especially with everything included!

Eh, wouldnt surprise me if they made one..... just a matter of when at this point.
I think all major parts manufacturers are realizing the market for this platform, so it's no longer a matter of if they will make it, but when.
However, sadly it seems that when everything hits the market for the LX's, it's insanely priced. So you'll have to wait even long for the price to come down to a comparable level with other platforms.
Im looking forward to the competition in the market though!

the complete kit is about 5800 or so...so basically in line with hemi S/C options...a full Vortech Kit for a 5.7 is only $5200...so actually you can supercharge our Hemi's for less
Apples to apples...the Techco Twin Screw was available for 6499 if you bought in for he pre-order pricing...similar unit amnd within 1k of this kit.

Should be interesting. I've always had good luck with them on GM products. They make for a nice Street Blower...

The Techco is a great looking unit, as is the Edelbrock. I'm sure if Edelbrock came out with one for us, the price would end up being in the same range as the Techco.
I figured that was obvious - since Edelbrock doesn't make blowers. It's much the same as SMS not making blowers - but putting a nice package together.
The Edelbrock and the Maggy are both using the same blowers as the RDP unit so we have all seen these blowers already
Anyone install an Edelbrock SC yet?

My main question is to customers who have installed them as to what they think, etc.
My other question is about tuning, how locked is the canned tunes? What about people with other exhaust mods, or possibly camshaft? For those with headers, or other exhaust mods you need to richen up the a/f ratio, so is that possible, or do they lock the a/f ratio in their tunes? Or do they offer a way to download an updated tune with more fuel?
What about timing, is it optimized for 93 octane? what about customers who only have 91? and the new echo tunes, can timing be adjusted for 87 octane? or for those who use 93 octane fuel, but adjust the timing for 87 because they get a lot of knock.
If you allready have a preditor, can you simply download the tunes and install them in the tuner you allready have?
I havent seen pricing on their extended warranty, how does that work, and how expensive is it?

Is there any other information you can give us, such as actual boost levels and rwhp other than the officially published figures from Edelbrock? Do the longer 7" intake runners really boost low end torque as advertised? Are there any issues with the belt tensioners or stock fuel system supply? Is the air intake charge actually cooler due to the inverted mounting of the heat exchanger unit on top of the blower?

I agree your wanting actual scientific testing and proof, however some of your questions are commonly used tuning tequiniques.
Long vs short runners tune for low end torque vs top end hp.
With the boost set at 5psi, its pretty conservitive, so do we need boostapump? maybe not?
The belt system is seperate from the stock one, so its a self contained system, it looks pretty good.
Their design is somewhat backwards, BUT thats what makes it better. The intercooler isnt over the hot engine block, its closer up where its cooler, it also doesnt make the air bend twice in seperate directions, so its not only designed with runners which increase low end torque, but it eleminates a bottle neck most super chargers have, so its win-win-win Definatly a superior design.
The not having the pulley system over complicated with putting it in the back, and needing to move the mechanical rotation around is less loss.
I dont see any negatives to its design, simply ways they fixed poor designes from every other system.

For only 5 pounds of boost, 556hp at the crank is impressive. I could not find that information (boost level)stated anywhere. Basically it looks as though the Edelbrock system is able to acheive the same horsepower as the other supercharger kits on the market running 6 pounds of boost. I would also think that running the lower amount of boost would increase engine reliability as well. Am I right to assume this?
considering its not bilt for any boost, less is better for long life.
less boost and same output = more effecancy
more effecancy = more mpg
