Anyone heard of Rotrex?

Hello, Im new here and I have been looking into superchargeing my SRT. Looking at the crazy prices they want for a kit $6000 + I figger I can do somthing with a Rotrex for alot cheaper. Has anyone else thaught of doing this?? I know I would have to work with a CMR Tuner. A rotrex is only around $600-700. Just thinking outloud.

Its a ball-style supercharger. Mainly used on 4 cylinders/imports. Good luck finding one big enough to adequately feed a HEMI.

I think the same one they are useing on a LS7 thats putting out 1200WHP should be the right size

It's not just the head unit.....you can do any blower much cheaper than starting with an engineered kit.....but you will find that once your done with the supporting bits and all the tuning you haven't saved all that much.
