    Anybody know if the GSM Paxton pulley is "special"?

    I called Paxton yesterday to order a pulley but they said that GSM special made theirs so that there is an offset compared to normal for belt alignment.
    Can anyone verify this? Anybody have one they want to sell?

    Coming down to the little pieces now and need to order a pulley for mine as it didn't come with one.

    What size do you need. I have a couple, PM me

    You can order any vortech pulley, and yes a little machining might be nessasary but the local guy asked for $5 each to do, its a real easy face machining job.
    My Mods:
    Procharger F1-C supercharger @ 15psi running thru a full custom ductwork including a Danko productions Shaker hood kit transformed into THE FAKER SHAKER you see today by 402 Motoring and a 24"X18"X4" air to air intercooler then to the throat of a single plane intake by XV Motorsports, 8.5:1 Comp ratio, H-beam rods, Ross racing pistons, P&P heads & intake, Diablo tuned by Dave @ B&G, complete return fuel system using a Weldon racing pump and pressure regulator, Methanol injection removed, Nitrous perimeter plate capable of 100-300hp (at 175 now), RUNNING 10'S ON THE DRAGSTRIP

    Call up their tech support line. Make sure you have the diameter of your crank pulley, the size of your blower, and max rpm you plan to run. The tech will give you the pulley size you need for 6lbs of boost.

    Chad, how much did they have to machine off? I noticed about an 1/8 of inch difference with my new Vortech pulley. Although it did go on with no probs and so far no belts being thrown despite the very slight mismatch.

    By the way, in case anyone is wondering max rpm for the Novi 1200/1500 used in the GSM kits is 58,000 rpms. So in my case.... a 17% OD ATI dampner comes in at 7.074 inches divided by 2.62 x 3.50 drive ratio x 6200 rpm = 58,590 rpms Max'd out at 12.5-13 psi in my case.

    You are right, about an 1/8 in. You also will have to put a washer on the outside of the pulley so the bolt tightens on the pully and not just bottom out.
