    Zex window switch installation

Here's a write up of my installation of Zex window switch.
I've seen couple write ups of MSD switch but not zex.
Again I hope this helps the next person that does a nitrous install.

I did not take pictures during the install but I took some after.

First you must hook up your nitrous system and test it before you hook up your window switch .(This is a must so you can program your NMU - it can not be programmed with the window switch hooked up)

Then you can wire the switch. There are 5 wires:
    Black- ground
Red -12V ( you can tap into the red wire that is going to the NMU so when you arm the system both the NMU and the switch will come on)
2 white wires - One goes to the TPS wire and the other connect to the white wire from the NMU
Green wire - connect to the Tach signal( blue wire on the 3rd coil)

Here's the picture of the Switch with all wires.

    Picture of the red wire

Picture of the Tach Green wire you hook up to the 3rd Coil if you have a 5.7

Picture of the white wire - one goes to the white wire coming from NMU- below - and the other goes to the TPS wire at the TB.

White wire is inside the black hose

when you are done wiring everything follow directions for programming your switch.
Press and hold both buttons down till you see "PRO"
    then set the:
first step to 00 (individual coils)
Second step to O (unless you want to start spraying in 2nd gear)
Third step to the RPM you want to start spraying(Zex recommends 2500 or more - everyone says 3000)
Fourth step to RPM you want to stop spraying at
Then you will see "END" which means you are done.

Now go out and spray some juice !!!

So glad you posted this, I was having the worst time, the shop that did my install could not get it to work. I went behind them and rewired everything, and disconnect the window switch to program the NMU which they couldnt figure out (Idiots). Anyway im going to hook up my window switch next. Thanks really needed this.

When I did mine, I tried grabbing a tach signal from the coil and had no luck. Not sure if it has to do with mine being an 05 or what but my RPMs were way off. I ended up getting an accurate signal from an injector...the wire closest to the clip
