    Zex bottle heaters suck

i have tried both there plug-in style and there direct wire in...THEY ARE BOTH HORRIBLE

dont waste your money on them.

    example.

plug in will never heat your bottle over an additional 30psi from where you open the bottle at,and then if you run it to long it will blow the fuse in your car=JUNK

the wire in,is slightly better...if my bottle pressure was 850 when i left my house. after a 25 minute drive it to the track it would be around 920.

now just to make sure it wasnt something messed up in the wiring.i wired in a NOS brand heater. WOW what a diffrence,i went from 820psi to 1000psi in about 10 mins.

DONT waste your money on the zex heating unit's...i contacted them about the plug in style since it doesnt work AT ALL...you wanna talk about the run around, good luck

as far as the nitrous system i am VERY happy with it...but dont buy the heaters....unless you like cold bottles

That right there is the understatement of the century.I use the dynotune HD and can get the bottle well over 1200psi fairly efficiently.

Get a NANO system and your pressure issues will be gone forever!

If you would like a system, give me a call! 888-244-4364

    The NANO Performance Advantage

NANO uses “mass flow technology” to constantly compensate for changes in bottle temperature and pressure. The results -
Constant maximum horsepower gain throughout the race.
    • Using NANO -180HP till nitrous bottle is empty
    • Without NANO – 180 HP for 1st 30 seconds only
Utilizes the entire content of the nitrous bottle.
    • <LI class=style1>40 seconds without NANO
    • 80 seconds capacity with NANO Technology

This graph uses Real Test Data taken from an automated nitrous flow bench using 10 sec run time intervals.
The graph shows Horsepower vs. Run Time using both a standard Nitrous system with a 10 lb bottle and bottle heater, and a 10# Competition NANO System with no bottle heater. HP is calculated using a 5.2 :1 nitrous to fuel ratio. All data correlates to Nitrous Manager software by David Koehler. NANO systems develop 25% more average HP (Nitrous Mass Flow) than standard nitrous kits with the same jetting.
Test results show both systems performed about the same for the first 40 seconds of use. Beyond 30 seconds, the NANO system continues to perform at the 180HP level while the conventional systems performance drops quickly.

In practical terms the NANO system can achieve over 100% more run time without any decrease in performance until almost all 10 lbs of nitrous are used.

    THE NANO 10 second advantage

NANO's “mass flow technology“ produces constant flow of nitrous oxide at all times. The results -
Constant Mass flow of Nitrous throughout the Run.
    • NANO systems develop 25% more average HP (Mass Flow) than standard nitrous oxide kits
      with the same jetting.

This graph uses Real Test Data taken from an automated nitrous flow bench.
The graph shows Horsepower vs. Runtime for a 10 second run comparing performance of a Standard Nitrous system with the Competition NANO System. The bottle heater is not required for the NANO System.
HP is calculated using a 5.2 :1 nitrous to fuel ratio. All data correlates to Nitrous Manager Software by David Koehler.

Exactly what E said. I had issues with the Zex heater when I first installed my system and on Eriks recomendation, went with the Dynotune heater. I went with the High Output one and that bottle heats up REAL fast.

+1 they suck (and I still have it).

I wired in to the plug, and hardly got ANYTHING. Direct to the battery and it works marginal at best.

Time for a new one someday.

We sell the Zex heater however I am not a fan of it either. Anytime some one wants one I try to talk them into something better.

Now if you want a heater that blows everyone elses heater out of the water the 860 Billet heated bottle bracket is unbeatable.

For you guys looking for a element style heater the quality of our Nitrous Outlet heater is hard to beat. This is simply the best made element style heater on the market.

If Cheap is what you are looking for and cosmetics are not as important but you do not want to sacrifice quality our Brand X heater is a big bang for the buck.

All three of these heaters use an adjusable pressure switch. They are fully adjustable.
