i hope this helps ya...it did the same thing to me once and i was told dont hold the throttle blade open 100 percent when programming, since it doesnt really open 100 percent at wot..when i was doing it at 100 percent it was giving me that same sputtering effect.i was told when programming open it about 3/4,i did that and it took a little playing around with to get it right but it did eventually work.i was thinking to myself this all didnt seem right since i didnt have to do this the very first time i programmed it but it worked so i just ran with that and didnt try to understand why...lol...good luck!
This happened to someone else but I forget what the issue was. You can't reprogram it?
No.Damn this suks..I will try your idea 8urls.BRB..
scott that is what it is, i know you dont have the resistor on there so its the TB being programmed at 100% WOT. Hold it open to like 95% or so. For some reason when its 100% programmed, when we mash the pedal for WOT the TB only opens like 99% and fluctuates. Let us know how it turns out.
Damn Im so pissed!! Tried it at different pedal positions and nothing.Even tried movint the T/B by hand and nuttin :(
I dont get it.I have done this 1000 times..Hmmmm
does the green light stay on the NMU the whole time or does it flash red?
it turns green red off after it learns the voltage curve..
when i had problems with mine, the NMU wasnt getting a good enough ground
did you change that at all? check the resistance on the ground and make sure the box is getting 12v. Other than the TB position im stumped :(
I hear ya bro.Honestly i have not changed a thing. All I did was disconnect the battery for my torque convertor install a few days ago. Thanks
damn bro i dunno. i wish i could help, god knows youve helped me enough. I would still check the voltage and ground at the box. if you have a fuse inline reconnecting to the battery may have blown it, ive seen that before. let us know if you figure it out
Bump..Looking for any more ideas
Install a pedal switch and button.......lose that connection to the TB wire.....never happen again.
