Such thing as a Spary and forget ?

The lure of the Nitrious is getting harder and harder to resist but like a having a mistress at somepoint in life your going to have to let her go...

Soooo my question is there such a thing as a low maintainance simple Nitrious Kit which we can spray through the Air intake or utilize of those fancy throttle body nozzles that RDP just came out with.

Something I that can be turned off and on with a switch and that is not elaborate and does not require damn near rocket science gadgets, tubing, and plumbing to keep things from going boom...

I just am looking for a SHORT TIME\quickie such as a spray and forget.

Is there such a thing ?

You don't need a throttle body spacer, just drill the correct size hole in the intake tube just in front of the throttle body. I've got the Air Hammer, it was easy. You will need a bottle heater to get proper pressure and there are several ways of hitting the juice, some guys leave the juice on all the time and it's activated by hitting full throttle, sounds kinda dangerous on the street to me, especially in a SRT8. I put the arming switch and the launch button in the little tray by the shifter, and never hit the juice below 2500-3000 rpms. Yes it's very addictive, I'm running a 100 shot in my RT with a Predator 91 octane tune and 93 octane or octane booster to be safe. Use 1 heat range colder plugs gapped to .35 also. The simple button gives you complete control vs the blast at wot. You can let off if you start to lose traction also let of before tranny shifts to give the tranny a softer shift. Nitrous is very, very addictive, you've been warned!

formerice has some very good advice. There are several kits out there right now for the Hemi's. I'm personally using the Zex kit. It's pretty straight forward and has some safety features built in. For a basic set up it's tought to beat.

However, if I had to do it all over again. I probably would have gone with the Nitrous Outlet or Dynotune kits. I'm looking to go with a progressive controller and a second stage. When I got my kit, I thought I would only spray 100 shot. That only last two hits and I put the 125 jets in. Now I'm up to a 175 shot and want to add a second stage. So just like formerice said it is very addicting.

A properly set up and tuned nitrous system can net years of fun with no issues. However cutting corners and buying the wrong product can net a afternoon of heart ache. Anyone that tells you that you can just put it on and forget it is the wrong person to listen to. Nitrous can be a wonderful and a fun thing when done correctly but done wrong and you will be putting a motor in the car.

The key to a safe and reliable system is running a good product with the needed safety items and tune the car with the spray. Do this and there is no reason why you should not have nothing but great results.
