I know this is not a Nitrous install but I've talked with a coulpe of members about Meth and some installs..I just wanted to post some pics....

Really not to clear in the pic but I've mounted the Meth Pump on the frame of the car(front end needs to come off)...

Next pic is where I mounted the Labonte Meth Controller(VC-A10)..Its mounted on the bracket near the fuse/relay box is...Along with a FULL bottle of meth(My factory windshield bottle)..IMO this is a great way carry more Meth and a great way to tell when you are running out(the light in my dash will come)...

guess your using the methanol as a safety measure and not for extra power?

thats what we do on all out turbo cars at least....more boost=more meth

Safety measurements ,keeps the top of the pistons clean,cools temps,and its like an on-demand 113+ Octane boost (my set at 3500-4000rpms)...

.. u can add more timing w/out getting knock w/this which means more pwr correct? In other words a more agressive tune per say!

Basically Yes.

The water cools your intake charge dropping it by as much as 30 degrees, the Methanol increases your octane rating by 40 points I think it was. You have to tune for it to really see the benefit but Yes you can run allot more timing witch will make your engine more efficient = better MPG and more power.

Well if you run out of windshield washer fluid the detonation isn't good your the motor. The water is good because it will clean out all your carbon buildup and keep the cylinders clean.

By the way I think today is the last day of the GB.

By the way I think today is the last day of the GB.

I had posted somewhere in another thread it went to the end of June so I will leave the GB price till then.


I have my street tune not relying on the Water/Methanol injection and my race tune set up for:

No Knock sensors
more timing

I dont run that on the street but the water/methanol is a good thing to have.

It really depends on how much your foot is on the pedal...Mine is ALWAYS on and running...I also have it to only spray over 3500-4000rpms...So if I'm just chillin' or cruising it won't spray...I'm using the factory washer bottle for Meth so it'll last me awhile til my next fill-up..I really can't give a real answer on how long it will last because I don't drive my SRT everyday...

Did you have to run a vacuum line to the digital controller?

What fluid are you running in the washer reservoir? regular washer fluid or a purpose made fluid?
