i have a 372ci motor in the garage and i just ordered a new kit from nitrous outlet. im going to use a 200 shot out of my new plate kit and run a 75 out of my zex kit.

I'm guessing 1 range colder and gapped to .35 . How about your fuel system? I would think the stock 5.7 pump is not going to keep up. Other things would be some sticky drag radials and probably rear axles. My friend has a 392 with a hot cam, heads and a 150 shot and the General Grabber UHP's 255/55/18's will spin the whole length of the track! With that big a shot, you'll need to either pull timing or run much better fuel. I've had good results using NOS systems racing octane booster, it actually works, 1 bottle to 16 gallons will bring 91 octane up to 97 octane.

NGK has 2 plugs that are 1 step colder than the stock 6.1 plugs 2 steps colder than 5.7

NGK 2315 and NGK 6509 the tech told me that the 6509 may be better for FI and high compression cause it doesn't have a projected tip so it doesn't stick so far into the chamber and has less chance to foul out

2 steps cooler and close the gap.Let us know what he says..Im also getting ready
to run a bigger shot. But Im going to use a progressive set up..

do those octane boosters really make any difference in terms of daily driving? I know they help with detonation, but for occasional street use are they worth it?

Definitely let us know about the plugs, I might be going to a bigger shot soon as well
