    question about fuel line fitting

I just purchased a Zex 82176 kit (i got it real cheap) which the only difference according to Zex from 82177 is the fuel line fitting . The fuel line fitting that zex has part 82138 is like $80 and i was wondering if could use this one instead. Thanks for any help.

I'm 99% sure that it should be fine. If it was my money, I'd buy that part (16185).

I also suggest installing it on the side closest to the firewall, not on the fuel rail; it'll stick up too high. Give Nitro Dave's a call. They'll not only confirm 100%, but they should also be able to source the part for you for a decent price.

I know this it's not ideal, but will the NX rail adapter be ok for a 100 shot if mounted on the rail and NOT between the hard line and rubber line back by the firewall? It's kinda a PITA to reach back there, and I want to be able to revert back to stock quickly and easily.

Sorry for bringing this post back from the dead LOL....

Thanks, good to know. Do you have pics of it installed? Just trying to get an idea how much it actually does stick up...

Just a "FYI" the nipple on the rail is larger the the nipple on the hard line from the tank. the rail is 3/8" and the hard line is 5/16". thats why i replaces the hard line from the tank with -6 AN line.

    So if it's going on the rail, do I want P/N 16190 (5/16-8MM) or P/N 16185 (3/8-10MM)? Pretty sure I need 16185, correct??

I'm not replacing hardlines. I have well over $1K worth of AN crap on my other car (-12 from cell to pump, -10 to reg, -8 to carb, -16 for cooling, -12 for oil system, etc, etc, etc....), so I know how it snowballs. I refuse to go there again with this car. I just want my SRT to kick off low 12s in full street trim with a baby 100 shot.
