Which Nitrous setup is the best

Ive been doin some research into which nitrous injection system is the best. The shark nozzle has been tested and proven for years but can lead to detonation easier than other methods. The Nitrous Plate is a better form a spraying but the jets are higher than the shark nozzle jets for the same hp. And then there is the new direct port kit which I dont know how it actually works being that it sprays into the first 2 cylinders which can lean those out with the outer cyclinders running fine. Does anybody have any input on which system is the best for the 6.1L motors?

The nozzle works for people that do not want to spend the extra $250 for the plate.

The plate atomizes the nitrous and fuel better than the nozzle.

The direct port does not just go to the first two cylinders, it goes to all of them creating better atomization than the plate or the nozzle.

I know the plate does better than a nozzle but I guess my real question is about the direct port injection. Does the direct port injection spray equally into each cylinder because the one BWoody created sprays 2 solenoids into 4 cylinders. I am wondering wether the inside cylinders get more spray than the outer 2 cylinders from the flow time to get there. Does anybody know if the plates will bolt on with clearance for the hood?

This should answer your question better.

Personally I wouldnt go with a DP setup unless I had a forged bottom end, but I am sure others may disagree. The plate works great, the recommended jet chart that comes with the "Nitrous Outlet Plate" can cause you to run a little lean... Use the ZEX jet chart until you get it on Dyno for some fine tuning..

Every car is different. With any manufactures suggested jetting it is nothing more than a starting point for tunning. One car may be dead on while the next could be rich or lean. Always use the manufatures suggested jetting for the product you are using. If you want to start out alittle one the safer side until you determain what fuel jet you need just use a larger fuel pill to start the tunning process.

The nozzle will gve you one flow steam of nitrous and fuel. It will do the job just fine.

Our plate will give you 6 fuel and 6 nitrous discharges. This plate design will give you the best flowing and attomizing mixture you can achieve through the throttle body.It also gives a cleaner looking install over a nozzle.

If spraying larger shots of 200 or more you may want to go to a directport. A directport is a system that places individual nozzles into the intake runner. Having individual nozzles gives you the oportunity to tune each cylinders airfuel ratio. In another words if one cylinder was running leaner than the rest you could adjust just the fuel pill in that cylinder.

Here is a good read on our tech page to help you understand a directport.
    http://www.nitroustech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109

The B-woody plate is designed to place the discharge after the intake and directly into the chamber. While you can not individually tune each cylinder like a directport if it flows correctly it should put a even discharge into each cylinder without having to flow through the intake.

Pluss one. Make sure its lock tighted in and check the inner threads so it can not screw loose and fall into the air intake track.
