Nitrous and Meth

I know its common for lxers to run a 100shot without any issues on stock blocks. How big of a shot can we go with a meth/water setup, for reduced detonation and higher oct? 150shot?

I got my zex kit sitting on the shelf and meth/water kit will be here tomorrow.

i have read of a couple people on here that have n2o and meth, hopefully they chime in. I think the week point on the lxs is the half shafts, so that would need to be replaced first before doing any big shots, but there are some that are doing 150 without meth and some doing progressive 300 shots without meth so im sure you would be good

With the water meth system I do not feel it is going to make any difference in how much you can spray safely. However it should raise the octain rating a tad and help detour detonation. Just make sure the water/meth discharge does not interupt the nitrous steam.

If the system is setup with the meth/water being sprayed into the CAI and a nitrous plate is used instead of the standard nozzle would that help avoid interruption?

You would think the water hiting the Nitrous mixture would freeze the water. Im not real certain on this nor if it would even cause a problem. I will need to put some thought into this.

I read that somewhere also but everyone is unsure about the watermeth mixture freezing. Hopefully someone that is running both can chime in.

I run both. Maybe because I am stupid I never thought about the posibility of freezing the meth. Rethink ---- I run straight meth, so no water to freeze. maybe that tis the solution for you too, run straight.

I'm not sure how cold the N2O is but I know two things...
1) The N2O heats up very very quickly
2) water/meth is also sold as ANTI-FREEZE. The 50/50 mix is generally good for protection down to around -20 *F or so...

I can't imagine that water/meth vapor being frozen is going to remain so for very long headed into a >200* combustion chamber considering it remains a liquid at anything above -20*. Of course, I'm just speculating, so anyone who KNOWS for sure would be welcome to chime in.
