    I Feel Silly

after doing the complete install of my new nitrous outlet kit,i couldnd get the system to fire any nitrous or fuel. so i went back to the instructions and went threw the entire wiring diagram again.chased all the wires from the relays.checked the grounds, broke out the test light to make sure everything was getting power.but to NO avail.i still couldnt get the system to fire anything. so after a very aggrevating morning i said "heck with it" and turn'd the system off and shut the bottle. then went to the track to watch all my friends race.

So the day at the track comes to an end and i head home. well as im leaving the track i get on the gas and something feels weird/slugish i look up at my a/f gauge and its reading 9.5(very rich).so i let off the gas.i thought to myself well that was weird.the car has been running lean since the install while were getting the tune worked out and now its really fat.so i try getting on the car again.same result?!?! im thinking to myself WTF.then i try something new.i put the gas pedal 3/4 the way down and BAM right back on to normal a/f reading. i look down the nitrous master arm switch is in the off position.i was like great! how bad did i mess the wiring up to get the fuel noids to fire when the system is off.

But then as im driving home (its a long drive to the track) so i have plenty of time to retrace my install steps.

i look at the master arm switch again, and flip it to (on position) then floor the gas pedal.NO bog,No running rich a/f,No sluggishness.

sonamabitch...when i installed the switch the panel was upside down.which inturn made the switch upside down.(glad the bottle was off) so it was just getting fuel.

so i pull into the driveway turn the bottle on,activate the WOT switch and BAM.......nitrous

so now i know why i couldnt find a prob with my install.....there wasnt one.

    lol,

    just thought i'd share
