Just buy a quality bottle heater.. No need to go through all that

I raced boats and one of them had the blow off disc go off in the pits. A few were going to sniff it up but that was all that happened

Correct...there could be a possibility the bottle could get hot enough to rupture the burst disc.

I leave mine in the car empty. I guess Im just scared. When its full it goes in the air conditioned basement. I put it in on the way to the track and then watch the pressure. I had one blow the disc in my garage. I was in there at the time. I almost pissed my pants. It flew all over the place and almost hit me. Not funny at all. I was told that the disc blows at 3500 lbs.

I must have blown one. My car was prepped for the track the day before (2 bottles) full. I left the car outside cause its not my daily driver. I came home drove to the track and turn the warmers on after I noticed pressure was way low. And of course here in Utah there is no place to get nitrous from on the fly. $100 bucks sh*% out of luck what a waste and pissed off. Not too mention my PCM dumped and erased my tune that night and almost left me walking 50 miles back home.

Kept mine in the trunk of my Bullitt through the entire summer this past year in Ft Worth, hitting well over 100*F quite a few times with no negative consequences. Of course the tiny trunk opening of the New Edge Mustangs makes it less than fun to remove and reinstall. When I swap my stuff over to the Magnum the bottle will likely stay in my closet unless I'm headed to the track.
