    All The Nitrous Junkies

I guess ill make a thread.
I wanted to know if any one is useing any other systems besides Zex.
It seems like Zex is the most popular. Is any one using the NX system?

Ive heard some are using Nitrous Express and I believe I might just have a special instaBOOST sitting right here for some low numbers

I just am not a fan of that purple bottle and am too lazy to paint that bottle. Amazing kit though. I personally am waiting for a direct port kit from one of our vendors. I think that will be too cool.

There are a couple direct ports out there Nitrous outlet ,And wilson manifolds have done a couple direct port set up..I wouldn't run that on a stock bottom end though

Sweet. Gotta check the Wilson one out. And I am far from a stock bottom end, which is a great feeling now. I think I will just stick to my instaBOOST though because its alot cheaper than $2500. Yikes.

yea some people always have their preferences. From what I gather from all my reading, most people start with zex because it is the easiest and has all the solenoids built into the NMU, rather than NOS where they are all seperate. Advantage is easier install, disadvantage is if something goes wrong, you have to get a whole new NMU rather than just replace the solenoid. I have heard people hate zex and never want to touch it, and have heard people love it. I personally love it, but I am a n2o noobie.

I'm probably the only peep using Dyno-Tune kit.....but with a Zex nozzle and jets. It was more work than a Zex kit, as stated above, due to the seperate components to wire up. I over engineered mine to afford the safest possible install.......seperate relay for everything, WOT micro-switch under the gas pedal with a momentary push button wired inline, and a Hobbs fuel pressure switch, too.

I just have the heebie-jeebies about using any flavor of kit on a stock 5.7, bottom end or top end (intake).

What are the experiences with a 'sneeze' on a plastic manifold? I've seen a pic a long time ago of all the plastic debris that destroyed a 5.7 and I'd sure hate to have that happen.

Are my fears groundless? Justified? What do you experienced guys have to say about that?

I say your worrying about nothing.. N20 has come along way..Saftey features ,knowledge etc,,The only "Sneeze if you will or back fire that i ever heard of is Randomaccess,He came through it just fine.
Other then that I have not heard of gernaded engine from N20 ever.Hoever I may be wrong. But I know 20 guys running N20 on a 5.7 with no issues..
