Would be safe to run a 150shot with proper tuning on a stock srt8? I know a lot of guys running in the 100-125 range but is 150 pushing it. I made 475hp with a 100shot and A/F was in the 10s.

As long as you can keep an eye on your A/F and keep them in the safe range you should be ok with a 150 shot.

Well, I ran a 200 shot on my '03 Quad cab 5.7 for over a year. And sadly , that was w/out a tune. I had it dynoed once a month to amke sure the AFR was right, and on stock system it was pushing the limits. But wow what a rush! Im running close to a 150 shot on a dry kit, which is/was a mistake. I am switching to a wet kit and will run a 200 shot on that. But w/proper tuning, plugs, and the like...Good luck and keep us posted! And what kind of AFR guage are you gonna run?![]()
Jag 5.7 or 6.1??Im going to assume with those numbers it is a 6.1
You will want to run a colder range spark plug like the NGK TR5 4306.

I swapped the plugs on the srt during the install and gapped them to .035. I think im going to stay at a 100shot for now until i get my mind made up on which A/F gauge to go with. Whats everyone else on here running for A/F?
