For "KEY ON POWER" nearly every vehicles under dash fuse block will have an Acc. pin or Ign. pin that has 12v with key on ACC. and RUN.
That circuit isnt meant to provide large amounts of power either, just small amounts like to your arm switch then to relay activation pins like 85 or 86 ONLY.
If your looking for power to solenoids or heater etc, I run 1 or 2 large(10-12ga) wires from battery to a small aftermarket fuse block and run main power from there to solenoids etc. An extra fuse block helps for diagnosis too. Im would hope most auto parts stores will have a fuse block. Makes for a clean install too.

If your looking for 12 voltsa under the hood you can use the power terminal near the fuse box as well.

yea but using a constant 12v source is a pain and can be dangerous if using it for a heater or something like that because you can forget and leave your stuff on after the car is turned off

There is also an acc wire in the main harness in the trunk, when you lift up the plastic trunk cover you will find the main harness heading to the battery and fuse box in the spare tire well, in this harness is a solid pink wire (12 gauge) this will be acc, this is what I used

What size of a relay is everyone using for underhood? I know the heater relay is a 12 V 40/60 A relay.... but I can't find any that size at any of the local stores for the setup I want to run in the front with my windows switch and nmu.

If you have a Nitrous Outlet heater, they require 20-24 amps depending on input voltage. So a 30 amp relay should be sufficient.
