    10 or 15lb bottle??

Im ordering my NOS Kit tomorrow and wanted to make sure if it was worth the extra bread to get the 15 instead of the 10lb bottle. Other than weight what are the other disadvantages if any.
Also is it possible to use the nos plate with a AFE stage 2 cai and a catch can?? As is theres barley enough room to even stick a finger inbetween the tube and the radiator wall.

I have hte AFE and the plate. It is a tight fit but I was able to make it work without any trimming and I also have a catch can. I would say to go with the biggest bottle you can, just because you will be addicted to the n2o. The only draw back I can think of is mounting locations and accessories, such as bottle heaters and brackets. Most of the cool stuff out there is for 10lbs bottles so you might be limited on that. You could always do 2 10lbs instead

10 lb bottles are already about 35 to fill so i d stick with those . hehe

I'd just look at 15's if your like me and you drive to shows that are far away where you may not know about refilling stations. If your just staying local, 10's should be fine.

A ten lb. bottle with give you perhaps 8 100 shot runs.

I progressed from a 10 lb. bottle with -4 main feed line, to a 15Lb. bottle, to twin 15lb. bottles with a -6 main feed line.

The larger bottle(s) handle larger shots better with less pressure drop.

Average rule of thumb for usage is 1lb per 100 hp per every 10 seconds.

    Demisions between the two are
    10lb 6.89 dia x 20.19 tall
    15lb 6.89 dia x 26.69 tall

    Wieght
    10lb 14.5 empty- 24.5 full
    15lb 18.5 empty- 33.5 full

They use the same bottle brackets and same heaters. 15lb bottles take alittle more time to get to pressure when heating, weigh alittle more and take up alittle more room.

However they last longer and save you trips to the refill station. On larger shot like 250 up the 15lb bottle will help aid against drastic pressure drop over a single 10lb bottle.
