ZEX 125 Shot, Just right or to much??

I plan on buying the ZEX nitrous kit for my mag, (125 shot). Is nitrous a safe way to go for power?? I have to ask, because what i hear from alot of people is how dangerous it is for your car and how it can mess it up, is this true? i also know people who have nitrous and have been running it on their cars for years with no problems. Is the 125 shot gonna be something i will regret in the future? or will i not have to be worried everytime i flip the switch?

Hopefully someone can answer my questions who either has this kit or anything similar on their lx's or is very knowledgable on the subject. Also, I have been hearing good things about ZEX so thats why i have decided on them, but is their any other competitor worth checking out?

    Hey Phil,

There are a few N2O system manufacturers out there and i'm sure you'll get a half dozen arguments for each, but I run the Zex system, as do quite a few on the forums with no problems. As for the 125 shot, that's debatable, unless you have forged the internals. I have run the 125 shot, but not constantly. I keep the 100 shot in it and have had no issues. There are a handful of guys on here that are much more knowledgable then I am and i'm sure they'll chime in. Good luck. You'll love it once you get it installed.

There are lots of guys running the Zex 125 with no issues on stock 5.7 internals....many are doing 150-175 shot with no problems on 6.1's

100 shot will be fine all day long. 125 is about the max, but will stil be fine as long as you do your hw.
