Did you run your KB Boost-a-pump wires outside the car? Underneath the car? That is how the manual tells you to run them. Maybe you pinched/cut a wire when you jacked it up.

need the tool to remove the ring.....or use a bronze drift and a mallet. I would use a volt meter first and check for 12v at the plug. Might just be your BAP died.

How do I check for 12v? When I turn the power on, what pins do I check? How often do BAPs die?

I'm sorry, that is too funny!

Hope you figure it out. As far as checking your plug to the pump, put a test light between the two terminals and see if it lights when you hit the key. Might need a helper, or extra long wires to the test light.

Several BAP's have died, but mostly the first gen MSD ones. The KB ones and the newer MSD ones are much better, but still die.

Quick way to test is to remove the fuse to the BAP, then just jumper the signal and return wires together. This is the equivalent of putting the wire that was cut at the pump back together and the pump would run off the normal vehicle fuel circuit and not the BAP (boosted) circuit.

ok guys so I checked at the connector on Im getting 11.55volts so I would say thats good... the actual pins to test are 1,2,3. pin 2 is black so I guessed thats ground. when I tested pin 1 and 2 I got 11.55, and when I tested pin 2 and 3 I got 11.55. thats all with the igniton ON. While testing I had my wife turn the ignition off, and it went to 0, then when she turned the ignition back on, it jumped to 11.55. So Im ordering a pump monday.. Walbro 255

Definitely getting voltage. You can get the locking ring off with a screw driver and a hammer but its a pain in the arse. Just don't go poking holes in the tank with the screw driver. Also have less than a 1/4 tank of gas before of it will spill out.

As far as the walbro I have no idea how replace the stock pump with it unless you use a whole new fuel hat with slots for multiple pumps to ensure you don't run out of pressure. Even if you don't run a return line it would still be worth it if you got the coin.

for the walbro you have to modify the fuel basket for it to fit, I called Modern Muscle VA and they said it comes with instructions, Ill probably do a write up on it because I cant find one here, and im sure people can benifit from the write up with pics...
