    Water/Meth results

Well today I went by 383 Hemis house and we got my water/meth kit working......

It's was a hot mid 90* day here in VA and my IAT was 143 when I went WOT for approx 2 seconds... I was watchin my IAT guage and saw it drop to 74* instantly (less than 1sec.) while my car was still reading 80* from the w/m it hit the peddel again and broke it lose and the car didn't feel sluggish at all..... I'm thinking that b/c of the IAT temps the car wasn't pulling timing so it actually was faster vs the first time I hit it.

I did notice that the temp rise back up fairly quick (w/in a few mins) I also noticed that the w/m kit only sprays when it's in drive. I tried to get it to spray when I was in park and in netrual and neither worked. I suppose I can just do a 2 sec burn out on the track to get the temp down.

I have a tune thats for this kit and a on/off switch as well....

Wanted to mention REDFOX Racing for the kit and the great customer service.

Coastie if the controller is made to come On at a certain RPM and a vacuum setting that can only be reached while the car is under load HOW do you expect it to come on when not in drive?

wanna be Coastie... I was under the impresson that I could just rev it past the "certain" rpm range and it kicks on. So let me ask u this. Why was it the other day when I was aski u about it u told me how to set it then asked me to rev the rpms to what ever I set it at and the pump should kick on....

I have the controller set at 2 and at 12... does that make a difference?

doing a burnout in D will meet the requirements to turn the controller on

I will keep this short since I am driving home.... You can see the pump activate in P or N as you wi meet the initial requirements of RPM and vacuum to start the pump at 10% but to get it the mist at any signifant volume you would need to produce more load (a lower numerical vacuum reached) to make the pump mist enough to make a difference.... Plus if you mist too much at idle or at lower RPM then you will bog the motor.
