    Question for those with boost..

Do you have a mechanical or electrical boost gauge?

And do you have a wideband or narrow band A/F gauge?

I am about to have some boost, and want to be able to monitor these parameters. I am just wondering which is preferred on the LX cars. Thanks for your input.

    I have two gauges:

On top is the wideband A/F gauge, bottom is the boost (reads to tenth of a lb..... seemed alot more sensible to me than buying a boost gauge that only reads single digits---unless you are throwing a heckuva lot of boost at your car, Id recommend you go my route as well)

From an ex-owner of a Turbo Supra....those are the magic three to have. I would not run boost on any engine without at least the W/B and the boost. EGT with an alarm at a preset point is handy to avoid catastrophe....as are alarms for overboost and threshold for A/F ratios. Remember too that dyno tuning does not = street tuning for turbos.....there are some differences. I've seen more than one owner dyno test and tune, then blow a motor on the street. I'm not an expert, but I'm just trying to caution against riding the razor's edge on the A/F for extracting those last 25 horses.

    Definitely a wideband...
I love the proparts Gauges...they are the closest match to our factory look imo...plus you can change the colors!
For those that have not seen these they are awesome...we have packages for the LX available.
