I would think PPP would be the guys to ask. I know landshark is running heads, cam and a vortech. I know he is using meth injection to, you may want to ask him his exact setup I'm pretty sure he's over 500rwhp in a r/t.

One thing to think about, more hp takes more cooling, especially where you live. If you haven't already done the" Frankencooler" mod yet, now would be a good time. Do a search, easy to find here. Water methanol would be advisable too, running boost . If it makes you feel more comfortable, I drove my last vehicle a 3.4 l v6 Toyota Tacoma with a supercharger and a 12 psi overdrive pulley for 125,000 miles, no problems!

You'll probably want to change cams when you add the supercharger, but upgrading heads won't hurt you.

Ported heads will be good. If you get them shaved to increase compression then that will create problems.

ive been on and on here , and yesterday i was chilling out with friends and a very close friend owns a Vetter with a procharger and another Ta with a vortech and they both complained about the weather and how bad it is for them as their cars are only good to drive in winter time and they arent able to use them on daily basis :/ it freaked me out ..

here in kuwait the temprature reaches 50c everyday and lately we have been owned with humdiity seriously :/

my would be hot weather will hurt the performance of the S/c ?

i will look into a methnol kit thats for sure ..

hmmmm......mess you up? Define this for me! I live in florida temp stays around 85-97 degree's and the humdity well it's Florida. The water/meth kit will help under boost and drop the temp in the manifold alot, enough to keep the motor happy. You loose HP through heat. The Vortech setup changes out the tsat and has a water to air intercooler which helps out. If there was a way to add a fan to the intercooler would also help. My car is a daily driver the only problems are gas, tire's, and per-ma-grin!

Q8SRT8.....Thank you for the comment. When doing your setup the main thing is make sure you get a custom tune in your area. Make sure you research them and that they have done tunes on LX platforms these damn cars are pretty smart.

There's several different style's. I like the labonte setup where you can add a flow meter. I have 3 led's on my guage pod green...when spraying, amber...when bottle is getting low, red...when there's not enough flow or none at all. Check in the vendor section through BMC Performance, RedFox, PPP, there might be a few other's but most have the same setup. I Know SRT8U (Chris) at BMC also has the water/meth on his SRT8 and is pretty knowledgable on this subject or like they all say do a search.

We specialize in forced induction, and also have several customers in the middle east, so we are very well versed at building supercharger combinations that will perform well in the sweltering heat.
Please PM me if I can answer any questions for you,

Thats not a bad idea...might not look to good....

On another note I was reading the new super street mag and I saw a intercooler that had C02 inlet and outlet connections on it...It showed a picture of the intercooler split in half and it has sealed chambers that run along side the core itself..way better than the basic intercooler sprayers..Maybe and idea for better temps...who knows.
