    Decisions, decisions

    I Have an 07 Road & Track Package magnum. I have the opportunity to get a superchip program for $200 or should I just save for the Diablo? I'm trying to keep it pretty much stock looking since it is kind of a rare car. just don't know which way to go.

    I have a superchips and it does a good job. You should be able to find one for 150 or so used instead of the 200 you mentioned.

    If you plan on doing a bunch of upgrades and will need to get a custom tune then just hold out for the diablo. If not, the superchips should do fine.

    I've got a SC programmer you can have for $150 + shipping. Used it on my 06 Mag RT for a few months (worked great) until I traded the RT in on my SRT (Superchips does not support the 6.1 Hemi); includes all cables. PM me if you're interested.
    06 MSRT. KW, Hotchkis, and REM. Predator, Corsa, and AFE. No more Ram Heads -- Flying Skulls instead (on BT badge, sills, center caps, and underhood; and on Jinah's mats and console cover). Entirely shaved, no rear wiper.     Get your self a Diablo so you are covered if u want to go father with mods. Nothing worse than buying **** twice.

    If you never intend to open the motor, the superchips will do anything you need - the canned tunes of both units are reasonably comparable, and either will delight you with the changes. I sold my superchips and borrowed a predator when the Sidewinder went in - but ran the superchips tunes for quite some time since diablo doesn't include the serial cable a power supply with the unit.

    Used superchips should never be over $150 in my opinion - and, will it work on an 07?

    I wouldn't expect any support from superchips either, they gave up this market when the going got tough(er).

    Just because the predator CAN do a buttload more things than the red one, doesn't mean that it's the best solution for this scenario. I say take lmbcfls up on his offer, it's worth it...
