What the ... ?

I have been here since the start of this club so lets make sure all of you know that! This club started with a group of people that put alot out to make sure that it would be something great! From the start I made it clear that we had to have organization or the club would not make it. Before every meeting I would talk to mike so I would not cause problems. Mike made it clear this was his club but I force the issue that we needed to have leadership! I even suggested that the charter have him as the owner and pres. so that there would be no issue as to him ever losing control! And now after our last meeting a couple of months ago where there was alot of talked about things but nothing has moved ahead! I say this only because there are alot of strong guys in this club and I would hate to see it fail!!! But it has!!! So I say this as I said from the start if there is no leadership there is no way the club can move forward. As many of you know I have a national car show for LX's coming this year with a major Magazine! I did not take it to this club because of the lack of leadership! So with that said I will hang on here no matter how many people get mad as I feel that this club is something to fight for! But its on a clear road of death with the current leadership! FYI I emailed, texted and left a voice mail to mike who did not respond before making this post!!

I am here until it fails or dies why? Because I believe in the group of guys, you are all great people and this club could last until the end of time with leadership!!!

You know that I am in several clubs in the area all of which are LX's clubs. I am in the because all offer different things. By far what this club has is better the people are great! And also I can tell you that even though its cold they are meeting up once a month both of them and one does something every 2 weeks! Now I feel that the problem is leadership after our last meeting I left feeling that things were moving in a great direction! But as always it has fallen to the side. I work 60 hrs a week, have a 2 year old and so side work on the weekends. And my family comes first and me the wife always say to each other whats up with this club? My wife likes it far better then the other 2 because of the wifes and children. I will say it again I will stay with it until it fails. But I really wish that Mike would give some control to others for the better of the club so that it does not end. Because it would be a real shame if it does.

I agree but its not a matter of demanding more from people the people are there that want to do and give. It about a lack of leadership and us not wanting to force our own will because of friendships that we all have with each other. We are all friends and don't want to fight about a club! Its about mike understanding that he may not have the time to do what needs to be done for the club.

I'm sympathetic to Claude, but I gotta tell ya....I'm not really looking for a leader.

Informed fellow LX'ers? Sure. I'm pretty happy with the bunch of guys and gals on here that are a few keystrokes away. I also like the regional and national meets we have.
