    Still here!

Hello to any members still out there, and welcome to Spring! I am still here and have been watching the forum awaiting for the emergence from Winter's dulldrums. I figured what the hell, start the ball rolling. Over the Winter I feel we may have lost some members, and possibly scaled back our aspirations as a club too. The scaling back is just fine with me as all I was really looking forward to was the occational Greet-and-Meet anyway (not nessesarily our undertaking, but anywhere that supports it including ones set up by others - we can be an entity and still help others at the same time). I think we should first take a poll to see who is still out there and part of the DVMMC as the forum has been idle for a while after some dissapointing communications. I would really hate to see the demise of the club, it may not have met the expectations of others but I feel those who formed it had a good cause.

So let's see who still out there and support those who need it!

I think I would like to stay in NJ. I have been self diagnosed with "Trafficphobia". If I go anywhere with elevated levels of Traffic I start shaking and sweating. Just the thought of going to and from the Great City of Philadelphia has me jittery right now. I liked the Meet-and-Greets held at Fuddruckers in Turnerville NJ, wasn't too bad getting there on a Friday night. I guess I can visit the Pa. Group on occasion without actually joining (if that is allowed) and still enjoy a Friday meal and show at Fuddruckers as well. The NJmoparclub is too far North.

Nothing against Philly, I actually grew up less than a mile from there (still have relatives there too) - just accross the Tacony Bridge in NJ. Over the years the population boom in the North East Corridor has me thinking of leaving the entire area when I retire,.... some day. For now "extreme" South Jersey will need to suffice until then.

If this Club (DVMMC) survives I am still in.

    One more question,....

Do people really go to Pa. for relaxation??

I've seen 42 and 76 at rush hour, it would appear that people might work in Pa. while living and enjoying the rest of life here in NJ.

    Just an observation.
