M&G - Ideas and links to upcoming events

This should give us a central place to kick around ideas for DVMMC gatherings. Once there is a general consensuses that the group likes the idea for a M&G the originator can post a poll to pick a date. Then after a date has been chosen a sign-up thread will go up in the North East section of the LXF, unless it's something we want to be DVMMC only. In that case we would keep the sign-up here.

Man, I would have totally gone with you Bill! Unfortunately I have a bbq for my brother's wedding to go to. Maybe I can do both, what time you going?

Feeler: I know that most of you guys are from S. Jersey and Eastern Pa. But my future father-inlaw has ofered his place in Jackson for a M&G. It would be a nice little drive. They are less then a 1/2 mile off of 195. Exit 22 I believe 2 exits after Great Adventure. Any excause for him to BBQ and to embarrass me. And I'm sure that Shanons two brothers would want to be there to. He has 7+ acers and a huge yard to handle all the cars. I just thought that I would bring it up. We were thinking mid. Sept. Let me know if there is any intrest so I can let him know. Because they always seem to have something going on.....Ken

We'll probably leave for the zoo around 9:30. It gets insanely crowded just after lunch, so we try to get there early.

Jackson actually is about the same distance for us South Jersey folks as Jamison, PA...it's only about an hour. That's if the turnpike and 195 aren't a mess. Any excuse to BBQ is a good one as far as I'm concerned. And besides, who would enjoy watching your in-laws embarrass you? LOL

As long as the wife isn't overwhelmed at the start of the school year (she's a teacher) we would be there. September can be a little hectic for the boss lady though, so we may not be able to make it.

I have family in Jackson as well. Maybe a cruise over to Ernie's house may be in order. Who knows your car might be there for more stuff! If its a Sat I think they also do a car show at the Home Depot parking lot, it would be insane for all of use to caravan over there in the evening. I'm so down for this one.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a M&G at hooters in KOP. Perhaps the 14th or 15th. I know its not realy a family thing, but that is comming soon on the 22nd. let me know.

So what do we have going on for July? Other than Carlisle that is.

Speaking of Carlisle...who's going and where are you staying? We'll be arriving Thursday night and staying at the Ramada in Mechanicsburg.

I think the boss lady made plans for us to go to her sister's house. If I'm wrong I'll be there. Just let us know what day you want do it.
