John, start a thread in NE section of the forum with all the particulars so that non-DVMMC members know what's going down. I would ask all of us that are going to post in that thread as well. If non-memnbers get a feel for how many of us attend the M&G's they'll be more likely to want to come out.

Hey guys

The Chargerforums recently revamped their site andi t has the ability to start groups. Maybe only a dozen groups have been started so far. I think one should be started on that site for DVMMC. I spend more time at that site then here and I have yet to attend a DVMMC event - so I am hesitant to advertise for you guys. But it might help to get the word out to others.

I can start or maintain communication over there if no one minds.

I say this! You may be a great guy! But I don't know you and as a back room founding father I don't want you doing anything without us knowing you! We have a thing and its this. We have M&G that are geared towards family's that have LX vehicles. Not a bunch of guys that meet in parking lots where are family's who may or may not be as "happy" as we are with our cars! So I feel as a founding member that if we don't know you! You should not be doing anything on behalf of the DVMCC! I know that I may sound like a A**H**e but when you meet me you will see I am a good guy. I just want us DVMCC to be here along time..

Thanks for letting us know PH D. The fact that you came here first (instead of taking it upon yourself to set it up) is appreciated...thank you. I set up a group on CF and linked to our stuff over here so that people will know what we're about.

I may be missing something, but I didn't see a way to access the "social groups" from the forums @ CF...I found it through the User CP. Hopefully I missed something and more people will see it.

Good to see that I got your blessing. I know that there is power in numbers, and that people usually have more fun in numbers. However, I’d feel very awkward speaking on behalf or representing a group that I’ve yet to attend.

I couldn’t really vouch for any of your characters. But, that claude9039u guy seems like alot of fun to be around.

That is where I found it as well. I just stumbled upon it as I tweaked my signature earlier today. I am not sure if easier access will occur in the future or if an announcement that it exist will be made to the community. I just thought it would be smart for the DVMMC to have a group on the site. Many for selfish reasons, as I do visit that site more. Probably because I have met more people from that site and have a 2 year history with it; maybe that will change in the future.
