    Where to get factory paint

So where can I get some Cool Vanilla paint in a spray can locally in the TC? Looking to paint some under the hood stuff and would like to color match.

Go to a Carquest Paint Store, they will take your paint code and mix it for you on the spot. A word of advice the car is painted by robot, the bumper covers are painted by spray gun (there is a very slight difference but I cannot see it). A spray can will not match perfect but the difference is very slight. Get the basecoat/clearcoat, the clear in the can is not as good as the spraygun clear (it will not take uv rays as well) but under the hood you will be alright. I am not a paint man buy any means, but I just did this in the spring (no I did not stay at a Holliday Inn Express last nite). 1 Skuff 2 Adhesion Promoter 3 Prime 4 Basecoat 5 Clearcoat 6 Mess-up (check for wife and kids) cuss then skuff and repeat 5 and 6. (Skuff with scotch-brite pad, before you spray tackcloth the surface) Take your time and enjoy the bonding time with your car.

You can also get a spray can from your dealer. Its about $10 for a spray can thats a little more than half the size of a regular spray can, but the color match is usually really good as long as you don't have too much sun fade on your car.

Well this will all be under the hood items so I should be good on both the sunfade and UV protection.
