In November I will be out of the military and going back home to MN. I just wanted to see how big the club is and what to look forward to.

Not sure if you guys have a club page or something? It will be cool to eventually meet you guys later on down the road.

Can't wait to put the hurtin on the ford and chevy guys up there next summer!

Nearest 1/4 mile is in Wisconsin - about an hour and a half from the Twin Cities. As a group, we haven't gone out there yet, but its been mentioned. As of now, its mostly M&Gs and car shows with the occasional cruise.

then again, I prefer DRVING my car, you know, hard into corners and what not (auto cross racing) and that straight line stuff is boring to me...

I'm about the only regularly practicing drag racer out of the MN crew, theres actually one other guy from our forum section who's out at rock falls wisconsin almost every week (forgot his screen name) but he has pretty much dissapeared from the forums. If you wan't to drag race once your up here just hit me up, I usally get a small group of buddies together and also post it up on here.

That would be cool, it's always nice to have people to grill with and hangout in between runs. Is the track usually packed on those days? By packed I mean over 300 cars....

You need to take care of that one wheel wonder problem you showed us last fall in the parking lot at Harriet Island Park when you left... It should look like this > , but didn't and until you solve that problem, you shouldn't be racin...

(IIRC, best way to fix it is to remember to turn ESP off BEFORE the burnout... )

Depends on the type of track days, usually brackets are around a 100 cars or so (a fair amount of people just come to run before brackets start), pretty easy to get in a good 4-6 runs (with proper cool down) before time trials start, if you show up when they open.
