Planning a Duluth Run for August, need input.

Ok, I know we have all been tossing around ideas for M&G's for are new club. I have received some very good feed back about doing a Duluth trip.

So this what I am thinking for a Duluth Trip.

1) Mini M&G at somebody's shop

or barbecue maybe.

2) Convoy up to Duluth and stay on Canal Parkway. (Plenty of parking and great area)

3) Head over to one of the many bars around that area. Maybe the (Saratoga) Any body know what that is

and party all night.

4) Head back home.

Now the question.
I have two weekends in mind for this in August
16th - 17th or 23rd - 24th

I don't care when we go in August. I will meet you guys there and then stay in a hotel over night. Do some site seeing the next day, then come back.

Thanks Reeg, this one is #2. I find out on Friday if it's a boy or a girl. (I'm putting money on it being a boy)

I can't plan that far out...

Right now, money is the big factor - cost of gas up there and back, hotel room, food, etc...

Well yea, I can use maps, but there are more than one state with a city of Duluth. Remember not all of us are from MN.

Im guessing you are talking about Duluth MN, which is about 4hrs from Grand Forks. If thats the case, I can probably make either weekend. Ill have to check my work schedule.

Either time slot works for me, but I can't really say that I'll be able to go. I'm trying to save all my vacation and money for a trip to Europe/Mediteranian in the fall. If gas continues to rise in price, then a trip to Duluth becomes even less realistic (when added to food/booze/lodging). Don't mean to rain on the parade, but I may not go.
