There is a coffee and cars meetup in Chanhassen on 10/4/08 from 8-11 am at the Motorplex in Chanhassen.

I'll do my best to be there, but after looking at that video, I will NOT be bringing the Magnum, it's not worthy(yet). I'll be riding shotgun in my buddy's SSR.

SSR isn't any more "worthy" than an RT Magnum.

Don't get me wrong - I love my car, it's kickass fast and looks gansta (sorry burn me at the stake if you wish). I just don't think it would stand out in a crowd of cars like they've got there. They might think I was the caterer bringing the donuts or something...

The SSR is still a little more unique than my hot rod grocery-getter.

Wow! This was a lot of fun! I should have brought the magnum. I think Natas was the only LX there. Never did find him there, but oh well, there's always next year.

Speaking of next year, we should plan to bring a whole crew of LX's We can show the GTO boys how to properly behave at a social function. What a bunch of JACKASSES! A crew of GTO's left early and as soon as they got on the street, they all starting doing burnouts in the middle of the street, one even whipping donuts. The people hosting this even made it clear they didn't want people hot dogging in front of their property. Leave it to the GTO's to wreck a good time. Look for cops at the entrance next year...

Any way, I forgot my camera, but my buddy with the SSR brought his, so I will post some pics up when he sends them to me.

I was talking to the guys running it and it sounds like that was the last one for the season (unless we see no snow). They are planning other functions through the winter sans cars.
