I'll say it again: "WoW"!!
Just drove home with the new Cat-Back prototype installed, from Blastin Bob.
This car now sounds like it should have sounded from the factory. Bad-Ass!
Cat-Back 2 1/2".. Mandrel Bends.. X-Pipes.. Welded 2-Chamber Mufflers.. (Stock Tips for now)
The sound is AMAZING! I didn't think I was going to get that "Muscle-Car sound" out of her unless I did some crazy engine mods. Nope. No need. This did it!
I did have the Resonator Delete kit and I liked it. The droning was acceptable to me because I wanted the deeper sound, so I put up with it.
Now there's LESS droning than there was before! And the Deeper, Throatier sound, well, I love it!
I don't know what else to say. It's what I've wanted from the start.
Thanks, Bob! You made my day!
(Remember when doing engine performance mods to re-set the PCM by disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal or by pulling the #2 fuse to re-set the driving habits the PCM has learned)

Another note:
I've driven some nice performance cars and this car now FEELS like it should FEEL from the exhaust reverb. When you step on the pedal you should be able to FEEL the power. Not just in the acceleration, but in the sound. Yes, FEEL the sound.
Here's a comparison: Put some classic rock (or your favorite, I don't care, LoL) into the sound system. Turn it up. Then turn the Bass all the way down. When I did the resonator delete it was like turning the Bass back up. With the Cat-Back prototype installed it's like adding a big 12" sub and amp. That's how a performance car should feel and sound to me.
It's not annoying sounding.
No more being envious about someone else's car and the way it SOUNDS. Hahaha![]()
what do you drive?
Can't figure out how to upload the video so here's the youtube link:
