Loss of back pressure = loss of low end torque?

I have read many posts concerning the loss of low end torque when modifying the SRT8 factory exhaust with something more free-flowing. My question is, will this phenomenon be "seat of the pants" noticable in an otherwise unmodified power plant? I can see how a heavily modded powertrain (cam, heads, nitrous, etc.) might suffer some apparent torque loss. If I bolt on a pair of Bob's glass pack reso replacement pipes (GP300x4) am I going to "feel" a torque loss in my pretty much stock 6.1?

Please, not another back-pressure loss of tq thread.

Run open headers and dyno the car and report back what the loss is.

You should be fine with what you want to do. I have hi-flo mids on my SRT along with a JBA exhaust. Did i lose sum backpressure...sure did, but its very minimal. Had the car out yesterday hauln arse and got sideways very easy several times. Sitting at a standstill and stomping on it.....smoke show! I don`t even have a pred, let alone a tune

While you can easily over exhaust an engine, this mod will not do that.
