    inlet size and exhaust tipe question?

    If my exhaust size is 2.5", I would need some exhaust/muffler tips with a inlet of at least 2.5" or bigger? Also is the inlet the part of the tips that clamps onto your mufflers and the is the outlet the part of the exhaust tips that stick out the back or your car?
