06 Magnum 6db vs. 7db

I have an 06 Magnum r/t with rolled tips. The sound clips are hard to judge at times, but the 7db sounds good. From reading other posts drone will be an issue though? This is our family car so drone wouldn't be good. Would mandrel vs original bend kids make any difference?

Can anyone speak as to how these kits have held up over winter? I live in WI.

For those that have done this at home, is it that easy and do you need jack stands at all?

5db mandrel bent kit, anything louder will risk getting drone.

How come some folks get these welded in? Does living in a cold snowy climate matter?

Usually around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Personal preference.

If the roads are salted it will make the exhaust rust faster.

I've had my 6dk kit through two winters and no sign of rust yet.
