    Can someone identify this tube and what it is for?

    looks like some sort of forced induction intercooler plumbing.

    no. just guessing by the tube diameter. too big for liquid.

    Is this something you could live with or change it to where the intercooler is seen?

    The shop that installed this said it was the only way they could do it at the time, I think I can raise the inter cooler into the grille aea.

    Maybe paint or anodize the tube black so it isn't so noticeable?

    If that is the way the intercooler was mounted on my car I would not be a happy camper. You are not going to get the cool air rush directly to the intercooler, instead it is going to a pipe??? I would have them redo it.

    They said they would redo it later, but I`m not sure when later is. I`m thinking about doing it myself. My car hasn`t been home in about 5 to 6 weeks. No I`m not happy.

    that can't be good. i'd get them to relocate it to the airstream.

    what supercharger kit are you running.....Im guessing procharger...if so check with fixer..he had to do some modifications to the kit to get it to work on a 300c.
