Please PM me with any events that you think Ontario LXer's might be interested in.
A true hot rodder wouldn't be content until he had created a car so violent, so hairy, so totally sick that the very act of dropping the hammer would result in instant death. Anything less results in the need to go faster.
Great pictures! That makes me miss weather that doesn't melt someone! Ugh...July is right around the corner. For me that means 110-115* all the time! Can you guys imagine waking up around 1am and it's STILL over 90*???
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...unless you have to go to a clinic to get rid of it.
VERY NICE! Soothing too.
Sunnyside Park?

Close -- Far eastern parking lots of Ontario Place, across from the Toronto Island Airport. I had to sneak around the parking barrier, but that was not too hard.

Nice, Greg. Now you are an accomplished audio/visual dude.
BTW, I went out a couple times in the Toronto area to find some good photo locations...not quite as good as yours, though. I went to some park just east of downtown, on the lake and one on the east side of the Don Valley, looking back at that "pointy" thing.
Cheers![]()

Thanks Jonn -- the A/V stuff must have rubbed off from your work to me.... I am really surprised how 'click and drag' this stuff has become. Adobe now does it for free (a dummed down version but still nice) on Photobucket. Amazing really.
There are some nice parks in the areas you describe with good views looking west at what is still the tallest free-standing (no guide wires) structure in the world at 1,815 ft.

The CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, stands at 553.3 m (1,815 ft), and has been the worlds' tallest freestanding structure for more than 30 years, since 1976. The CN Tower's head-architect was Adam Vinter. To this day it has the world's highest publicly accessible toilets.
And I have lost alot of bets on that last statement. I now know the truth!![]()
One of these morning I got to get off my lazy ass and get some pics around there as well. I've always wanted to, just never got a chance. I have never been to the Docks (off Cherry Street), but know you get a killer view of the city in the background!
BTW.... the CN Tower is a PITA to walk up! (dont think I'll be doing that again!)

It was a beautiful day here also, in fact I got a shot of the mag just before sunset by the entrance to a Japanese style park down by the waterfront I was trying out the new camera and it was begging for a shot..
